Fantastic coffee shop tucked away in the back of a hotel. Friendly, professional baristas. Really nice ambiance on the inside- fun for friends to catch-up or an informal business meeting. The decor is almost Victorian-esque. Outdoor area with astroturf lets you enjoy the weather and order fresh and delicious tacos from the Mexican food truck. Parking is available but annoying asks for your phone number to enter the gate.

I needed to find a place to work on things. And this is such a hidden jam in south congress! Very quiet and peaceful during the morning. They had a good variety of menu options of tea and coffee. There are breakfast tacos available and some pastries too. There’re enough tables to sit and work without feeling cramped - the wifi is stable as well. There’s a second floor that has a cozier vibe than the first floor and connected to the hotel next to it. It was raining outside so didn’t check the outdoors but it looked a lovely outdoor space. Parking was very easy and free for the first 2 hours. I would definitely come back here.

Absolutely loved this hidden gem of a food truck! The French toast paired with eggs and protein was fantastic, and the quesabirria tacos after watching the Austin Marathon were absolutely mouthwatering. The lattes hit the spot perfectly, providing just the right amount of caffeine. Plus, it was such a nice touch to enjoy the lattes in real mugs instead of disposable cardboard cups—really appreciated that! Indoor/ outdoor seating available.

While exploring Austin, we stopped by Simona’s Coffee + Cocktails, tucked inside the stylish Colton House Hotel on South Congress. What a vibe! The space blends mid-century design with cozy modern touches think velvet seating, warm lighting, and inviting nooks that make you want to linger awhile. We grabbed an iced coffee and tea, then found a quiet spot on the terrace to relax. The outdoor seating is shaded and peaceful, perfect for catching up with friends or just people-watching with a cool drink in hand. Indoors, the decor feels like a cross between a boutique lounge and an artist’s studio refined but not fussy. If you’re looking for a chill place to start your day or wind down in the evening, Simona’s is the spot. They serve both craft cocktails and specialty coffee, so whether you’re a latte lover or a cocktail enthusiast, you’ll feel right at home. Don’t forget to explore the hotel’s art-filled lobby and take a few shots around the terrace the natural light is perfect for photos!

Simona’s is one of my favorite hotel bars in Austin! I love their coffee + cocktail concept and the store is just super cute and photo worthy. They have a safe and indoor parking lot outside of the shop. The store is beautifully designed and it’s generally not too noisy and good for both working and gatherings. I particularly love to chill on their outdoor patio (by the poolside) when the weather is nice. Their coffee is great, and the bar has a lot of cocktail options as well. If you need some small bites, there’s also a local food truck outside of the bar. You could simple place your order by scanning the QR code presented on each table. I’ve tried there queso and chips and they were pretty good.
